Celebrate Bastille Day with us... and support a worthy cause!


   Presentation

   La Maison Française and the Comité Tricolore invite you to celebrate "Bastille Day at the Embassy of France.” Chefs from the most prestigious restaurants will be in attendance to offer you a buffet of mouth-watering creations while you enjoy live performances, cocktails from the open bar and a luxury-item silent auction!

Participating restaurants include: Plume (The Jefferson Hotel), Café du Parc (Willard InterContinental), Ici Urban Bistrot (Sofitel Lafayette Square), Ritz Carlton, Brasserie Beck, Ronald Reagan International Trade Center, 2941 Restaurant, Bastille Restaurant, Ris, and breads by Panorama Breads.

Deserts provided by: Pâtisserie Poupon, Moorenko's Ice Cream, Cacao Fine European Chocolate & Pastries, and Kahwa Cafes et Mighty Leaf Teas provided by SilverSpoon.

Live performances by: Blue Crescent Syncopators (jazz quartet), Bobby White and Kate Hedin (swing dancers), Jacques & Marie (French song duo), Dana Kristina-Joi Morgan (jazz pianist).

By attending Bastille Day 2010, you will be supporting a charitable cause. All proceeds from this event will go to the non-profit and all-volunteer Comité Tricolore (www.Bastille-Day.org) whose mission is dedicated to helping people in need among the French-American community of the Washington area. Funds raised during the Bastille Day event are the Comité’s main source of annual revenue.
